TG Foundation Winter Party for Congo | Fashion Show |

Designers from the renowned Istituto Marangoni School of Fashion & UK Singer Rene Byrd Showcased the TG Foundation Winter Party for Congo to raise awareness of the plight of rape victims in Congo at Oh Photography Studios on Saturday 04th December 2010. The Winter Party for Congo included a drinks and canapé reception, music by Congolese Urban band Kasai Masai, Guest Speaker Judith Wanga, presenter of the BBC3 documentary “The World’s Most Dangerous Place For Women”, performance by UK Artist Rene Byrd, followed by a fashion show featuring pieces from London Designers VERA, Mikael Kjersen, Frederick Morrison, Constanza di Nucci. The event close with a live auction of pieces donated by the Designers and other members of the fashion industry. All proceeds from the auction went towards helping victims of rape in Congo.
